In essence, yes...Hi Kathy, thanks for the question.
In essence, yes, you are correct, with one small clarification. The only mortal people alive will be those who were unbelievers up until the Rapture and Christ’s Return. However, at the moment of the Rapture at Christ’s Return, all the unbelievers who remain will witness Christ’s appearing and the Rapture:
“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other“ (Matt. 24:30-31).

That decisive moment will turn earth’s unbelievers into believers—in the sense that they will believe Jesus is alive, and that He is now the Ruler of all. These survivors will not be regenerated (born again), but they will understand that Jesus is truly Lord.
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne” (Matt. 25:31).

Thanks for the question.

I love receiving questions from my Bible Gems readers. Often they will be the source of a new Bible Gems post. So keep the coming, and encourage your friends and family do so as well.Pastor Colemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08347900801045661498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-701619496980934055.post-52222798537683130632016-08-07T16:06:47.186-04:002016-08-07T16:06:47.186-04:00Will those who are raptured receive their glorifie...Will those who are raptured receive their glorified bodies "in the air," then descend with the rest of the saints and live on earth under Christ's rule? If so, the only mortal people alive will be unbelievers. Is that correct?Kathy McPhersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05848287905943680701noreply@blogger.com
